Marc Beaman, 55, a general contractor who lives in Hilton Head is running for US House, District 2, now held by Joe Wilson. Marc, an army veteran, holds a bachelors degree,two masters degrees and a PhD. Mark and wife Janet care about people; they founded and directed a soup kitchen ministry for over five years in addition to running his construction business. Jerry Blanton, 58, retired sales; U.S.Army disabled veteran & VFW Member who has organized three American Legion Posts, is running for SC House District 38, Spartanburg area. Dave believes thatit a citizen’s duty to stand up for the rights and principles of Constitutional government that our Founders secured for us. Today, government is too big and too intrusive. Ralph Davenport, 63, owns Davenport Glass Co. in Spartanburg and represented the citizens of Spartanburg for 22 years as are publican member of the SC House. Ralph was one of the truly great legislator’s that worked for the people, not the special interests. Ralph is looking forward to being a legislator with a party (ours) that will support, rather than oppose his efforts for constitutional reform. Mark Chambers, 46, Maintenance contractor is running for county council in Spartanburg. Mark, who has received awards for his involvement in numerous civic projects and organizations, enjoys helping people. Patricia Matthews, 63, retired Registered Nurse, Running for SC House 104 in the Myrtle Beach area. A few years ago, she withdrew a significant amount of her retirement savings and spent it to help stop illegal immigration. This will be Patricia’s second run for this seat. In 2008, she won (earned) 23% of the vote. Patricia would work (1) to get the Federal Govt. out of South Carolina State issues,(2) to get transparency in voting records, and (3) abolish failed welfare programs and top heavy school administrations.
