To mount a successful political campaign requires money for radio, TV, newspaper ads and mailings. The two major political parties have an inherent advantage as they can and do accept
large donations from various sources that perceive benefits flowing from such support. The S.C. CP makes every dollar count as we have no paid staff. If you can give additional support to the S.C. CP over and above the membership fee, it will be greatly appreciated.
Federal Law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address,
occupation and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200. Political Contributions are not tax deductible. Corporate contributions are prohibited by law. Maximum contributions of $25,000 per person, per calendar year, are allowed.
