Welcome to the Constitution Party of South Carolina. You may have visited us because you sense that something is very wrong with the direction America is taking. Most likely you are aware of the following:
-
That total government spending grew by 33% in President George W. Bush’s first term.
-
That American jobs continue to be shipped out of the U.S. at an alarming pace. General Motors alone is shipping 25,000 good manufacturing jobs to China thanks to our suicidal trade policies like NAFTA, CAFTA and WTO.
-
That legislation such as the Patriot Act is taking our rights and liberties away from us under the guise of protecting us from terrorists. Why, at the same time, is our government refusing to adequately protect our borders?
The answer is because most of our 435 Congressmen and 100 senators want it that way. What is important to realize is that these disastrous policies continue while Republicans control the U.S. House and U.S. Senate and the Presidency. Moreover, seven out of the nine justices on the Supreme Court were appointed by Republicans.
Too many members of both major parties are not living up to their constitutional responsibilities. All of our S.C. Republican congressmen voted for the CAFTA disaster. They were representing global special interests – not your interests. We need to replace them with men and women whose votes are not for sale. Only then can we begin changing government policy back to that which promotes economic prosperity, real freedom and justice for all.
In South Carolina the State Party holds regular meetings in Greenville which are both interesting and informative. Armed with both a support group and understanding, our candidates are making the difference. The Constitution Party exists to help elect good people to public office, which is the best way to change unwise government policy.
We’d like to meet you. Whether you want to work for a better America as a Constitution Party member or as a candidate, there is a place for you. Go to the “Meeting Schedule” Main Menu tab for information on future meetings.
